Wellbeing activities

Please be aware: Due to current government guidance, we will be completing a phased return of our Active Lichfield sessions, meaning some activities are currently unavailable. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for bearing with us.

Before attending our well-being sessions, participants must complete a Medical Consent Form for health and safety & track and trace reasons.

You can download and then email your completed Medical Consent Form to the Active Lichfield team via sportsdevelopment@lichfielddc.gov.uk

Alternatively you can print and hand in your completed form to the coach at the beginning of the session. Forms will also be available to complete on the day.

We offer the following classes for older adults.

 

Walking Football (mixed)

Tuesdays & Fridays
1pm to 2pm

*Please ensure you pay for your sessions at Burntwood Leisure Centre reception and show the receipt to the coach.

Walking Football is a great way to get fit and play your favourite game at a more moderate pace. Sessions are delivered by a fully qualified FA Football Coach and are COVID safety secure.

 

Walking Cricket
Burntwood Leisure Centre
Thursdays
3.30pm to 5pm
£2.50 a session (first session free)

A slower-paced, indoor format of the game ideal for men and women aged 50 plus, walking cricket is the perfect way to remain involved with the game and meet new people while staying active. Delivered in partnership with Staffordshire Cricket.

£4 a session (first session free). Book ten sessions for £30

Take out some stress with gloves and pads. These non contact sessions are fun and energetic and are a great way to keep fit. The sessions are open to all.
