Swimming is a great form of exercise for the whole body. The swimming pool provides a great environment for warming up or cooling down after a gym workout but is also a very effective exercise in its own right. The water provides additional resistance for your muscle groups to work against and supports some of your body weight reducing the strain on your joints.
The centre offers a six lane pool which available to all, seven days a week.
We offer a range of swimming lessons for both adults and children. Our lessons are all about developing confident and competent swimmers through fun and enjoyment. We aim for the highest level of water confidence, skill and swimming techniques.
We provide lessons for children from 12 months old, with no upper age limit, for children wanting to learn to swim following the Swim England pathway.
We offer adult lessons for those who are looking to improve their confidence in the water with guidance from an instructor.
If you or your child prefer a more intimate one-to-one environment we can help.
We can provide more intensive sessions mainly during school holidays to ‘fast-track’ your child’s progress.
