SPACE Leisure Activity Pass

Lichfield District Council in partnership with Freedom Leisure are offering 160 free leisure activity passes for young people aged 10 to 17, funded by Staffordshire Commissioner’s Office SPACE scheme. The passes will give young people access to free activities and sessions throughout the summer.


What’s on offer?

  • Unlimited swimming at public swimming times
  • Off peak court hire, tennis, badminton, squash/racquetball and table tennis
  • Getin2it for young people summer activities
  • Getin2it Glow Sports
  • Getin2it PANNA—1v1 / 2v2 Football Pitch
  • Getin2it Soft Archery
  • Getin2it Spike ball
  • Getin2it SERVES Tennis
  • Cricket Pitch Access in Beacon Park
  • Petanque in Beacon Park

Please be aware that some activities in Beacon Park may require a small refundable deposit for equipment.

Free SPACE leisure activity passes will be available on a first come first served basis from Monday 18 July 2022 and will be accessible from both Burntwood & Friary Grange Leisure Centres.

Once all 160 free SPACE leisure activity passes have been allocated, they will be available to purchase for £20. Passes are valid throughout the summer holiday from Friday 29 July to Friday 26 August across Lichfield District.

SPACE leisure activity passes will also give you discounted prices on activities within the leisure centres for the following year. Just remember to bring the card with you each time you visit.

Getin2it for young people

Getin2it for young people summer programme offers a range of activities for young people aged 7 to 25.

Our sessions include parkour, boxing, panna football, glow sports and much more.

Activities and sessions will run at:

  • Burntwood Leisure Centre
  • Friary Grange Leisure Centre
  • Beacon Park
  • Various parks, open spaces and community centres across the district.
