An exciting range of free sport and activity sessions has been arranged for young people to enjoy over Half Term.
The sessions, from Monday 12 February to Friday 16 February, are taking place at venues in Lichfield and Burntwood.
They include Soft Archery for 7-14 year-olds or 12-19 year-olds (depending on the venue), Street Dance with Fusion for 10-15 year-olds, Kwik Cricket for 7-14 year-olds, football for 7-15 year-olds and 10-19 year-olds (depending on the session), multi sports for 7-15 year-olds, basketball for 9-15 year-olds, and Judo tasters.
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, Parks and Major Projects, said:
“There are some great activity sessions on offer to the district’s young people over the Half Term break.
“They are free, delivered by our fully-qualified Getin2it coaches, and there is no need to book – just come along and join in.”
All participants are required to complete a Getin2it Participant Consent Form if they have not previously attended sessions.
